e. The added chemicals to food that hasten weight gain: high fructose corn syrup being a big culprit, and growth hormones used in livestock that ends up in our bodies. Salts added to prepared goods also are not good.

I truly believe that the thing which most affects eating disorders is the completely unreachable stereotype of women in our culture. Super models are freaks of nature. We don’t look like that normally for crying out loud! Most of these woman starve themselves, and/or do some pretty major drugs to maintain their weight, and this is what we, as girls and women, look at EVERY DAY as our role models. Sick, sick, sick. What’s really crazy is that I truly do believe that most men would prefer a woman who has a little meat on their bones. Sorry for the tangent, but this is an issue that really means a lot to me!
